CYCLOCROSS Magazine GETS Interviewed!

In The Crosshairs, a website created for ALL levels of cyclocross riders and racers, recently interviewed Andrew Yee, publisher of the World's ONLY Cyclocross Magazine to give us a behind-the-scenes look at how a magazine comes about. And in the process, we get to read all about the guy who made it happen. Nice interview!

Nice Article! I hope you and Jonas are doing well. Had my first mishap on the bike, very minor, bruised hands wrecked front wheel. But, I have a loaner wheel to ride until my new one comes and all is well. Got two weeks off from work to just ride all I want. Take care and keep in touch.

Good read. thanks Christine.

I suffer with the leg cramp thing too, sounds like I'm in good company with Katie Compton... I'm just waiting for her to find the cure as it has wrecked many a race for me.

Like Rickie said, I hope things are going OK for you (and Jonas).
How's the road season going?

Hi Christine-

I wanted to know if you ever do ads or product reviews on your site?

I'm looking to work with some inspiring athletes this fall when we debut our new line. Shoot me an email and let me know. Our site is www.splits59.com.

Thanks

Penny

Hope things are good with you and Jonas.

Things took a left turn for crapville here a few weeks back, but I hope that we've found the way back to the 'straight and narrow' now.

How is your prep. for the coming season going? Looks like I will only get 2 or 3 races in over the winter due to other commitments :(

Any tips on getting rid of my douple tap step remount thing?

Sort of going ok now, thanks.

Awesome pointer on the hop skip and jump remount. It worked first time! But not second and third :( I'll try harder!

OK chris - focus on jumping onto the right pedal. and before you try it with a bike, try first running with the bike and pretend to jump NOT allowing yourself to do the double skip. Your mind will feel it is safe to skip the double jump because you are not actually jumping over the bike. Then try it over the bike once the skipping is gone.

I can't even begin to imagine how much of an eejut i'm gonna look in the park, pretending to run along with my bike and then pretend to jump on to it, focusing on jumping my right leg on to my imaginery right pedal. So long as I don't run over my imaginery dog.

Seriously thanks for the pointer Christine, I'll have a go! I just hope no-one is watching.
