Wanna know how to get in shape...

and stick with it?

Read my article that's printed in the current issue of VegNews for some helpful advice. Or at least pretend to read it so you dont hurt my feelings as I am super excited to be a columnist for them!

In the same February issue there are articles on where you food really comes from, the truth about water shortage, fountain of youth foods, and easy recipes from Indian food to whoopie pies.

Read it from the JPEG. Nice article. Your hypertext got me to the front page of the mag's e-site, but I got lost in the pixels. I love lentils! (Sorry about that)

yes??? from your image.

It's a great article for those starting out. But also some handy reminders in there too for more seasoned 'athletes' (I use the word loosely in my direction). I all too often forget the eating and drinking to fuel and hydrate.

Glad you're making some "headway" with your new doctor...hope he can figure things out for you. Enjoy your last weekend of racing - hope all goes well!

hi everyone - thanks for your kind comments. If you have a second, feel free to tell VegNews your comments directly - i am still on trial as a columnist! their email is letters@vegnews.com. There is a good chance they may even print your letter in the Mag next issue! Again, thanks so much.

I probably am slack in the hydration part, especially during the work week. I find it hard to hydrate on the bike, but I try to remind myself, especially when it is cold. Natural thirst gets me in the warmer air. The congratulate myself part is a good one for me, especially when I feel like I'm not making progress, but then I say to myself, at least I'm out here every week in the cold or high wind riding my bike instead of sitting on the sofa exersizing my bad posture!
