I normally avoid bike-geek-speak, but...

here's a photo of my new bike! Rumor is that they will arrive mid-March. The frame is all carbon, top tube is short enough to fit my short-torso'd typical girl body and it only weighs 1.1kg! I have to admit that i love the prune pattern on the bike - just enough prune without being overbearing.

I have spoken with the manufacturer a while ago and yes, they do have cx bikes! The shiny parts will be some sort of campagnolo group and two pairs of wheels, one of which is fancy carbon. website: ycone.fr

Again, i am relieved it is not completely covered in prunes. I also think it's cool when the bike is clearly matched to the team kit.

I think i learned what a healthy balance of prune is the morning after training camp when i overdosed on them.
