Join the World's First Multi-City Vegan Waffle Party!

Today I'm having vegan waffles for breakfast because a while ago i confirmed my participation in World Vegan Waffle Day (saturday, may 24 - TODAY!)

When i came across the site I just had to join in, especially since i am based in Belgium. Naturally i am making Belgian style waffles! If they turn out tasty i'll share the recipe and photos.

Wish me luck!!

...no waffling about...another non sequitur...

...a week ago, in the hundred degree heat i climbed the bo-fax road to just past golf course, felt so baked, i hadda turn back down & spin the flats for awhile...

...today, friday late, i go up past the alp-dam to the bo ridge & the wind & the fog are pouring in & it was chill-ass city...slip on the arm warmers & the long fingers & pace myself w/ out cramping, back to town & a hot shower...

...global, blah, blah, weirding, blah, blah...hmmmm...

holy toledo! The vegan waffles were incredible. Photos to come. I have forgotten how good a properly baked (that is...baked by me) could be. haha.
The funny temperatures worldwide have been out of control lately - everywhere but here though! A few belgians are threatening to step off of their bikes and scooters and get themselves american made truck/cars so we can share in the warm weather.

Vegans don't win races, eat some protein

hi anonymous:
Thanks for your comment, albeit a bit uneducated. There is COMPLETE protein in every single thing you put in your mouth that came out of the ground. How do you think gorillas or cows grow up to be solid muscle on a grass diet? (yes, this is a rhetorical question.) I look forward to hearing back from you after you've done a bit of simple research.
Best of luck anon,
Peanut

Tell anonymous that although we win no races (except for the ones we do win), we vegans can actually write complete sentences, with appropriate punctuation, agreement in number and tense, basic understanding of usage, and so forth.
