I am about to leave for Zolder, Belgium to check out the World Cup course and pick up my paper number plates before the race tomorrow. But first, Jonas and I want to wish you all a very merry holiday season.

Aside from birthdays, I am not normally much of a holiday person but i do take a moment during the holiday season to sit down and think about everything i am thankful for. It always seems to cheer me up so i can come closer to matching the giddy spirits surrounding me at this time of year.

Best of luck. I have enjoyed your friendship from across the pond. Thank you so much for being so nice. Nemo and I had a great ride today into the wind and then back with the wind to our back. It was really great to ride fast so easily after working hard the first half of the ride. The temperature was three bears perfect, not too cold and just right. Had a big chocolate drink afterwards, and naturally had to share some with my best bike, Nemo. Give your machanic a big holiday hug. I am grateful he is there to take care of you.
Your biggest fan,
